    Spiti Valley Bike Tour

    9 days · Manali, Kaza & Shimla

Spiti Valley Motorbike Circuit is a 9-day group trip for solo travellers aged 18 to 40, riding adventure motorcycles from Manali over Kunzum Pass into Spiti's high-altitude desert, then looping back through Kinnaur to Shimla. Ride it yourself with a motorcycle licence valid in India plus an International Driving Permit, or sit pillion behind one of our local rider-guides. Your Trip Host rides too. A full rest day in Kaza comes before the high-village rides.

    Is this trip for you?

    Pace
A long first riding day into Kaza, then a genuine rest day before the villages, and a steady descent through Kinnaur to finish. Not a trip for anyone who wants to sit by a pool.
    Comfort
A hotel in Manali and guesthouses in Kaza, Tabo, Nako and Kalpa, all twin share, mostly with shared bathrooms at altitude.
    Great if you
ride, or want to try riding pillion, through remote high-altitude desert, and take altitude and gravel roads seriously.
    Rooms
You share a twin room with a traveller of the same gender where rooms allow it. In some guesthouses, rooms are shared with more than one other traveller.

    Who travels with you

Sarthak laughing as he pets a dog

    Meet Sarthak, your Trip Host

Sarthak's best travel memories come from going solo: hostel dorms, a new activity most days, new cultures and new food. SoloNomads grew out of that.

Sarthak travels with every group, from the first day to the last, so there's always someone on hand to sort things out when plans change and to make sure nobody gets left out.

In every country, a licensed local agency and licensed local guides look after the ground services, so you get local know-how too.
