    In short: this page covers using our website — not booking a trip. If you're booking, read the Booking Terms & Conditions too. Use the site fairly, don't copy our content, treat prices and dates on guide pages as a starting point rather than a guarantee (they change), and don't hold us liable for things outside our control, like a link to another website.

    1. Who we are

    These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website at https://solonomads.com (the "Site"), operated by Sarthak Dhonchak (sole proprietor), 1001, DLF Corporate Greens, Sector 74A, Gurugram, Haryana 122004, India ("SoloNomads", "we", "us", "our"). Contact: hello@solonomads.com.

    By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. These Terms apply to your use of the Site itself; a trip booking is governed separately by our Booking Terms & Conditions.

    2. Who can use the Site

    The Site is intended for people aged 18 and over. Our trips are for travellers aged 18–40; other content on the Site (blog posts, guides) may be read by anyone, but reservations and bookings require you to be at least 18.

    3. Acceptable use

    When using the Site, you agree not to:

    • break any applicable law or regulation;
    • copy, scrape, reproduce, republish or redistribute any part of the Site or its content without our written permission;
    • use any automated system (bot, scraper, crawler) to access the Site except standard search engine indexing;
    • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems or any account that isn't yours;
    • introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
    • interfere with the Site's operation, security or availability, including by overloading it;
    • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with us;
    • post or transmit anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening or infringing of a third party's rights, in any comment, review, form or message sent through the Site; or
    • use the Site to build a competing product or service, or for any commercial purpose we haven't approved.

    We can suspend or terminate your access to the Site at our discretion if we reasonably believe you've breached these Terms.

    4. Intellectual property

    All content on the Site — text, photographs, graphics, logos, itineraries, maps, video and the underlying code and design — belongs to us or our licensors, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use (for example, to plan your trip), provided you don't remove any copyright or other proprietary notice.

    You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, frame, upload, transmit or distribute any content from the Site, in whole or in part, in any form, without our prior written consent.

    "SoloNomads" and our logo are our trade marks (or claimed as such). You may not use them without our written permission.

    If you believe content on the Site infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at hello@solonomads.com with details, and we'll investigate.

    5. Accuracy of content — please read this

    We research and update our guides, trip pages and blog posts carefully, and each has a visible "last updated" date. But travel information changes, sometimes quickly and without notice, including:

    • visa requirements, entry rules and border crossings;
    • prices, exchange rates and taxes;
    • flight, ferry, train and bus schedules;
    • opening hours, closures and entry requirements for sites and attractions;
    • health and vaccination requirements;
    • government travel advisories, safety situations and local regulations; and
    • weather, seasonal conditions and festival or event dates.

    Content on the Site — including anything under `/guides` — is provided for general information and planning purposes only. It is not professional visa, legal, medical, financial or safety advice, and you should not rely on it as your sole source before travelling. Always confirm visa rules with the relevant embassy or consulate, confirm health requirements with a travel clinic or doctor, and check current government travel advisories for your destination before you travel.

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information published on the Site, except where that liability cannot be excluded by law (see clause 8).

    Specific booking and trip terms — prices, cancellation and what's included — are governed by our Booking Terms & Conditions, not by general content on trip or guide pages, which is descriptive only. The exception is the list of what's included and excluded on the trip page for your departure, which forms part of your booking (see Booking Terms §23.2).

    6. User-generated content

    If the Site allows you to submit reviews, comments, photos or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, adapt and publish that content in connection with promoting SoloNomads, across our website, social media and marketing materials, subject to our Privacy Policy and, where relevant, the photo/media consent terms in our Booking Terms & Conditions. You confirm that anything you submit is your own work, doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, and isn't unlawful, defamatory or offensive. We can remove any user content at our discretion.

    The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, suppliers, local agencies, visa services, insurance providers or informational sources) for your convenience. We don't control those websites, and a link doesn't mean we endorse or are responsible for their content, accuracy, terms, availability or privacy practices. You use third-party websites at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

    8. Liability

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

    Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

    • the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose;
    • we don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free; and
    • we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

    Where you're a consumer under a law that gives you rights that can't be excluded (for example, statutory consumer guarantees in your country), nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

    This clause governs use of the website only. Liability arising from a booked trip is governed by the limitation of liability clause in our Booking Terms & Conditions.

    9. Indemnity

    You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or breach.

    10. Changes to these Terms

    We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or how the Site works. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. For material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to make the update noticeable (for example, a notice on the Site).

    We may also change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, without liability to you, except where the law says otherwise.

    11. Governing law and jurisdiction

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, India, except where local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence, in which case that right is unaffected.

    12. General

    If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Booking Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site.
