    Health, Safety & Travel Disclaimer

    Last updated · Version 1.0

    This page sits alongside our Website Terms of Use and Booking Terms & Conditions, and highlights specific disclaimers that matter for planning and joining a trip with us. Where anything here conflicts with the Booking Terms, the Booking Terms govern for a confirmed booking.

    1. Health and safety

    Travel in the destinations we operate in — Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Bali/Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka — carries inherent risks, including road conditions, water activities, altitude, wildlife, food and waterborne illness, and limited medical infrastructure in some areas. We take reasonable care in selecting accommodation, transport and activity suppliers, but we cannot guarantee your health or safety, and travel always carries some risk that can't be removed entirely. Please read the risk acknowledgement in our Booking Terms §16 and make sure you hold the compulsory travel insurance described in Booking Terms §11.

    Before travelling, check your own government's health advice and consult a doctor or travel clinic about vaccinations and health precautions for your specific itinerary.

    2. Visas and travel advice

    Visa requirements, entry rules and government travel advisories change, sometimes with little notice, and differ by nationality. We don't provide visa or immigration advice, and information on our Site about visas is general and for planning purposes only. Always confirm current requirements with the embassy or consulate of the country you're visiting, using your own passport's nationality, before you travel.

    We monitor official travel advisories (for example, the UK FCDO, the US State Department, and equivalent bodies) for the areas we operate in, and we may adjust a route or itinerary in response, per Booking Terms §6 and §7. But you're responsible for checking the current advisory for your own nationality and destination before and during your trip.

    3. No guarantee of wildlife, weather or festival experiences

    Some trips mention the possibility of wildlife sightings (for example, on a safari, jungle trek or snorkelling excursion), particular weather (for a beach or trekking season) or a festival or event (such as Songkran, Loy Krathong or Holi). These are natural, seasonal or community-run events outside our control, and we don't guarantee:

    • that you'll see specific wildlife, or any wildlife, on a given trip or excursion;
    • particular weather conditions, visibility, sea state or trekking conditions; or
    • that a festival or event will run on a specific date, in a specific way, or at all — dates for lunar-calendar or community-organised events (marked as such on the relevant page) are estimates until confirmed closer to the time.

    Where a festival date changes or an event is cancelled by its organisers after you've booked, this is treated as a circumstance affecting your itinerary under Booking Terms §6 (itinerary changes) or, where applicable, §7 (force majeure), rather than a failure on our part.

    Guides, itineraries and blog content on the Site may reference or link to third-party sources, government sites, or supplier websites for further information. We don't control and aren't responsible for the accuracy of third-party content — see Website Terms of Use §7.
