    Ladakh Bike Trip

11 days · Manali, Leh & Pangong Lake

Ladakh Royal Enfield Expedition is an 11-day group trip for solo travellers aged 18 to 40, riding the Manali to Leh road over its high passes, then on to the Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. Ride it yourself on a Royal Enfield Himalayan with a valid motorcycle licence, or sit pillion behind a local rider-guide. We plan a support van and a mechanic to travel with the group on riding days, and your Trip Host rides too. Two full rest days in Leh come before Khardung La.

    Is this trip for you?

    Pace
Long riding days on the way in and again on the way to Pangong, two genuine rest days in Leh, then an easier final stretch. Not a trip for anyone who wants to sit by a pool.
    Comfort
A hotel or guesthouse each night on the road to Leh, hotels in Leh, and fixed camps in Nubra and at Pangong, all twin share.
    Great if you
ride, or want to try riding pillion, through big Himalayan landscapes, and take altitude and gravel roads seriously.
    Rooms
You share a twin room or tent with a traveller of the same gender. Private rooms are available on request in Manali and Leh.

    Who travels with you

Sarthak laughing as he pets a dog

    Meet Sarthak, your Trip Host

Sarthak's best travel memories come from going solo: hostel dorms, a new activity most days, new cultures and new food. SoloNomads grew out of that.

Sarthak travels with every group, from the first day to the last, so there's always someone on hand to sort things out when plans change and to make sure nobody gets left out.

In every country, a licensed local agency and licensed local guides look after the ground services, so you get local know-how too.
